Punta Arenas (Chile)
When I went out for a walk on the streets, the first day was very cold for me, even if the day looks sunny, it is cold (at this time, the end of October and the beginning of November, when the days are long because it starts at 5 a.m. and it gets dark around 9 p.m.), I only walked five blocks and started not feeling my fingers because I was not wearing my gloves.

By the waterfront you can find several places to sit, but with the cold I prefer to be in motion. These monuments of boats in honor of the Magallan sea men that once crossed the waters of narrow sea channel, in total are 9 squares from the bridge over the river de las Minas to the equestrian club.

To get a little warm, I went in search of a hot chocolate and of course I had to try the traditional Kuchen that is a typical dessert of the region.

A very interesting place to visit for those who love trekking and nature is the Magallanes National Reserve Park.

It is a forest reserve with several sections for trekking, there are routes for both beginners and experts, with marked trails (just follow the red-colored sticks) so as not to get lost in the thick forest.

Another place to visit is the King Pinguino Park in El Porvenir, you can cross the Strait of Magallan with the ferry. The number of penguins in the park varies according to time of year, they migrate in search of food or in mating season.

Ushuaia (Argentina)
More commonly known as the "End of the World" for being the southernmost city, as they say where the land ends, is actually the end of the American continent to the south.

Something curious happened to me when arriving at the bus terminal in Ushuaia a dog, at first I was afraid, he came to accompany me while I was waiting for someone to come pick me up.
Walking a little along the coast of Ushuaia we realize that snow is the protagonist in the mountains around the city, you can also see the curious designs of the roofs of some houses to prevent snow from accumulating when the snow season .

Ushuaia is also a place where the sunsets are truly magical, full of many colors that mixed form that unique magic moment. A little bit of the view from the balcony of the house.

To get to the Tierra del Fuego National Park there are 2 ways, with a bus directly to the National Park, or bus + train (Ferrocarril Austral Fueguino or better known as the End of the World Train) the bus leaves you at the Train station and train travel ends at the National Park Station.
At the entrance of the park is the Postal Unit of the End of the World. From here you can send letters to any part of the world.
I chose the trek that borders the coast, coastal path in the brochure said it took 3-4 hours, but it took me about 5 hours depended on my pace of slow walking and on the way I found several fallen trees blocking the way and I had to skirt the area between the rocks to avoid mud, but nothing complicated. On this road you will go along the coast along the Beagle Channel with views of beautiful landscapes and different birds species.
